Roseville, Sacramento and Northern CA Family and Newborn Lifestyle Photographer
This month in our home our youngest took a huge leap towards his BIG BOY status. We finally got potty training down pat! So that pretty much meant that if you were under the age of 5 in this house you spent your most all of January in your underwear.
I have to admit, as much as I'm going to miss that little diaper bum, I am tiny bit happy to see those diapers go. Good news, this means no more worrying about unusual smells coming from your child in public places but It also means that at any given time you might have 2.2 seconds to sprint to the opposite end of Target to get him to the bathroom in time. Moms you feel me?
Either way it means my littlest love is growing up just a skosh too fast and this mama may or may not be struggling. Luckily my oldest seems to never be short on needing attention so I think I've got a little job secuirty in the mom deptartment for at least a few more years. I will say that I am so thankful that I have so many of these little everyday moments captured. You can find more of my personal photography along with my pro art over on INSTAGRAM
January also brought the start of my newest photo challenge. For those who have been with me for while know about my 365 (photo a day) challenge that I completed last year. I decided to cut myself a little break and shoot for a weekly project vs, a daily. Since I still have to push myself I chose a self portrait challenge. I basically loathe being in front of the camera. Which might make this a very interesting 52 weeks. I'll be sharing some of those images over on my instagram. Want to join in the self portrait fun??
